How You Can Help

Donations

Donating to the Sycamore Trust UK means we can continue to provide help and support for individuals and families affected by autism.

No matter how large or small, your donation means so much to the local families who need our help.

Most of our funding comes from our funders but we always need extra funds to improve and further support our community.

This can be done through:

  • Donations on our Just Giving page above
  • Choosing us for your own fundraising event
  • Direct donation to the office

To donate by cheque, please make it payable to Sycamore Trust UK.

Donate anonymously via our Just Giving page above or call 020 8517 9317 and we’ll be delighted to take a credit or debit card payment over the telephone.

Fundraise through your organisation

Anyone in your organisation be willing to complete a sponsored walk or a 10k run?

How about a sweepstake on the Grand National, Wimbledon or the World Cup?

We’ve got lots of suggestions to suit organisations large and small.

Could your business adopt Sycamore Trust as their Charity of the Year?

This is a great way to involve staff in community events, whilst raising funds for Sycamore Trust and increasing your profile among the local community.

Fundraising Events 2026

Dare to be Different

We’re inviting everyone across Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge to wear something a bit different and pop in a £1 donation for Sycamore Trust UK.

It’s about two lovely things at once: raising money, and raising awareness — of the charity and of autism more widely.

At its heart, this day is about celebrating what makes us all different.

So go wild! Odd socks, pyjamas, your favourite football kit… whatever feels like “you”.

Whether you’re at school, college or work, it’s a brilliant excuse for a fun day with classmates, colleagues, family or friends.

Need a hand with materials? Just ask — we’re happy to help.

Keep up with us: we’ve got plenty more planned, so keep an eye on our website or follow us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram for updates.

Fancy joining Dare to be Different 2027?

We’d love to have you. It falls on Wednesday 24 March 2027 — the same day as our sixth annual Walk & Talk in Raphael Park, Romford, during Autism Acceptance Week, just before the Easter weekend.

Want to get involved? Send us your details and we’ll be in touch soon — email marketing@sycamoretrust.org.uk or call 020 8517 9317.
